Press registrations
There are two types: registered press delegates and onsite press registrations
Registered press delegates
- Come to the counter with their printed press registration confirmation
- Ask for an ID card/passport to check the personal information (if not available, ask for a business card)
- Search for the press delegates’ name in the helpdesk, check if the registration is approved and scan the barcode to print the name badge. Please note that the print terminal needs to be active for the print job.
- Hand over the following items:
- Name badge
- Lanyard
- Pocket Programme
- Inform journalists where they can find the Press Centre and that they will receive an email with more information regarding press conferences shortly.
- For any further questions they should either refer to the programme or come to the on-site Press Centre (Neptuno, NCC 2nd floor).
- In case someone does not have the printed press registration confirmation but is already registered, ask for an ID card/passport and search for the name in the helpdesk. Then proceed as outlined above.
Onsite press registrations
Press delegates who are not registered, will be registered through the quick registration.
- Enter their email address (ask them for a business card to get the email address, please type carefully to make sure the email address is correct) and validate.
- Complete the account details if the user is new to the system and click ‘Save’ (Name, Surname, Country). If the email is already in the system, fields will be auto filled.
- Click ‘Finish Registration’ on the right and you can scan the QR code to print the badge, please note that the print terminal needs to be active for the print job.
Please inform press delegates registered through the quick registration with a completely new account to contact Simon Müller in the Press Centre to get the password for their account to access the EASD 2024 Virtual Meeting Platform (online content from the EASD Annual Meeting, presentation recording).
It may take up to 12 hours until they will have access to the EASD 2024 Virtual Meeting Platform.
Inform journalists where they can find the Press Centre (Neptuno, NCC 2nd floor) and that they will receive an email with more information regarding press conferences by shortly.
For any further questions they should either refer to the programme or come to the on-site Press Centre.
